Family and Friends

We had a very busy week this past week but it sure was memorable! On Sunday evening, Sara's sister Aimee and her two youngest kids came to visit for a week. The boys had a blast meeting and playing with their cousins. On Friday morning, we left for Oak Ridge, TN to visit some dear friends and enjoy some time relaxing with them. We couldn't have picked a better weekend as the weather was spectacular for a drive and there was still snow in the NC/TN mountains that was beautiful glistening off the sunshine. Below is a summary of some of the activities.

We got about 4-5 inches of nice powdery snow at our house yesterday afternoon/evening. It is so beautiful and so, of course, the boys wanted to see it! They loved every minute of it...ok, until they got cold and then they were ready to get into their bed for a nap.

5 months old!

Well, it's hard to believe that it has already been five months with these two little guys around...but we wouldn't trade it for anything. We are having a blast and it just gets more and more fun each day...well, except this afternoon. Both of the boys "exploded" out of their diapers and had it all over their clothes. Last week we had each of the weighed and they are both close to 16lbs now! Growing and growing each and every day.
