Thanksgiving '09

We had a wonderful holiday weekend filled with lots and lots of turkey, family and fun. Here are a few pictures from our different activities. The boys first Thanksgiving was truly a blessing as we were reminded how much we really have to be thankful for each day. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend as much as we did.

So, thought we'd just put up a few random pictures from the last few days. These crazy boys are really starting to change and become more and more aware of things around them...it's so funny to watch them. We ate dinner tonight at The Beacon in Spartanburg, SC with our sunday school class. Although the boys didn't get a chance to partake in the food or the experience I'm sure they would have enjoyed it if they had gone.

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend we packed up the car (and packed it was...to the gills) and took the boys on their first overnight trip! We went down to Lake Keowee for a couple nights and had a blast. The boys did great and seemed to have a good time. It is amazing how they are changing and really starting to become more attentive with their individual personalities coming out. The weather was absolutely beautiful so we were able to go on a couple of walks and enjoy the outdoors. We are looking forward to many more trips in the future!

Today is Sara's 30th birthday and she enjoyed a great day with these sweet little boys. As you can see from a few of the pictures, the boys are really starting to show some of their personality. We even got to go out to celebrate her birthday with some friends. All in all, what a great day!
