35 weeks

Sorry for the gap in posts but our internet at the house went down so we've been disconnected from the outside world. The last week or so home has allowed us to get a few more things ready like hanging the last window treatments in the nursery and getting the car seats installed in the car.
Sara hit the 35-week mark on Friday and we celebrated with a little trip down to the hospital just to check things out. Actually, Sara was having regular contractions again so we went in on Friday thinking this was the day these boys would be born. However, once we arrived and they got her settled in a room they checked her and she hadn't dilated any more so after keeping an eye on her for an hour or two they said we could go home!
Since then it's been an uneventful weekend which has been good! We go back to the doctor tomorrow so we'll see what they say. We are scheduled to have a growth scan/ultrasound so maybe we'll get an update on each of their estimated sizes. One final exciting event of note...I actually was able to sneak out for nine holes of golf!!! It felt so nice--I hope Sara doesn't see this!

  1. love those car seats. I wanted the same one for Graeme. . .but they don't make that color in the travel system here. . .the closest is a grey/green. boo! So happy that you all are past the 35 week mark--and Jason, I'm glad you enjoyed your golf. . .probably won't be too many opportunities for that in the near future, huh?! :)
